Bar Charts

Charts and tables show facts like the Bar Chart on the right. It shows the number of students from different countries. After looking at the chart you could say -

"Half the students are from China." Or "50 per cent of the students are fom China." You could also say "20 out of 40 students are from China."

These are different ways of describing the facts shown in the bar chart.
