IELTS Overiew

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is one of the most popular English language exams and is used by many universites and companies.

The are two tests

Academic - for entry to higher education

General Training - often used for immigration.

The test is in four parts -

• Listening - 4 sections - 30 minutes
• Reading - 3 sections - 60 minutes
• Writing - 2 sections - 60 minutes
• Speaking - 11 to 14 minutes
