Unlike charts, tables show the facts as numbers rather than as pictures, like the table on the right of the screen.

This table shows the percentage of students who were absent each day from primary and secondary schools in the United Kingdom.

It shows the average percentage for the whole country and then the percentage for each region. It shows a different percentage for primary schools and secondary schools.
